Gibson Fiberglass/Jushi USA names regional sales manager
IRWINDALE, Calif. — Brooks Jones has been appointed western region sales manager for Gibson Fiberglass/Jushi USA, according to company COO Alan Gardiner.
“We look forward to having Brooks on our team,” Ron Adams, vice president of technical sales, said in a statement. “His vast experience in the composites industry will be an asset to our group as we build our customer base.”
Jones began his composites career in 1973 with Mesa Fiberglass, where he was VP of Manufacturing and Sales before leaving for a position with EF Laughlin Co. In 1998, Jones joined the FRP Supply, which later became Ashland Distribution, where he became distribution sales manager for 10 western states.
Jones holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder and has completed several educational programs including the ACMA CCT?I certification, CCT Instructor and the American Management Association MBA course. Additionally, Jones is the past chairman of the ACMA Western Board and is active as a board member.
“I am pleased to join Jushi in the transition from Gibson to Jushi USA,” Jones said. “Fiberglass reinforcements are the core business and there are teams dedicated to tier one products in all end use markets entered.”
