ARLINGTON, Wash. — Steve Gamman has been named the president of Balmar, a manufacturer of marine DC charging system products.
Gamman, who has served as the company’s general manager and lead product designer, will replace company founder William Montgomery. Gamman has worked for Balmar for much of the company’s 37-year history.
“Steve has been a part of the Balmar family since our early days in Seattle’s waterfront Ballard neighborhood,” previous president William Montgomery said in a statement. “As an active member of Seattle’s small community who pioneered modern smart charging technology, Steve has been a major contributor toward changing the way we take care of marine batteries. We’re fortunate to have Steve take on leadership of the Balmar team and we expect great success on his part.”
