Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
LONDON, United Kingdom — Yacht insurance provider Towergate Insurance will produce a series of videos featuring Olympic Tornado sailor Hugh Styles, which will also include a guidebook.
The videos run through seasonal preparation, highlighting what needs attention in and on the yacht, including rigging and sails, equipment, possessions and insurance requirements.
Managing Director of Towergate’s Boat Insurance division, Nigel Mills, said: “With Hugh’s support, we’ve been able to put theory of our yachting guide into practice. For many, seasonal preparation is second-nature; however it’s always useful to have a checklist, particularly when it can be viewed as a video and a written document. We’re hopeful those with experience, as well as new owners, will find the information beneficial.”
