Navico hires new regional sales manager
TULSA, Okla. — Navico, the parent company to the Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G brands, has hired John Schweitzer as its new regional sales manager for Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Based in Houston, Schweitzer brings a lifetime of fishing and marine electronics experience to the position. Schweitzer will drive sales and support dealers, distributors and retail customers for the full suite of Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G products. In addition, he will work with Simrad Yachting professional accounts in the U.S. Gulf region.
Prior to joining Navico, Schweitzer was a regional sales manager with Southern Petroleum Laboratories (SLP). He has more than 30 years of experience in sales management, marketing and manufacturing of measurement and control products in the oil and gas industry. A passionate and seasoned angler, Schweitzer has previously worked with Navico as a member of its ProStaff, and has represented several name brand boats as well as fishing and tackle companies in the marine industry.
