Lauren Manufacturing names new president

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio – Lisa Huntsman has been appointed to president at sealant manufacturer Lauren Manufacturing, the company said in a press release Friday. She assumes responsibility for the direction and growth of the company’s operations.

Huntsman formerly served as vice president of operations before succeeding Kevin Gray, who served as Lauren Manufacturing’s past president before assuming his current position as CEO of Lauren International Inc. In addition to her new responsibilities, Huntsman will continue to focus on ensuring operational excellence across the organization and providing new opportunities for growth and development, the company reported.

Huntsman is a 14-year veteran with the company and has served in several roles during her tenure at Lauren. She received a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in coatings and polymer science from Eastern Michigan University and holds a MBA from Ashland University.

She began her career at Lauren Manufacturing as a chemist, working her way up as technical director, business unit leader and vice president of operations at Lauren before assuming her most current role as president of Lauren Manufacturing. Before joining Lauren, Huntsman was chief chemist for four years at Ohio Brass, a division of Hubbell.
