Boatsetter Owners Can Earn Money Through Referrals
Boat owners who share their vessels through the peer-to-peer rental marketplace Boatsetter, can make up to $350 by referring a friend.
Current registered owners share a personalized web link with friends via social media or text message. They can also import their contacts into a convenient online email form and use the pre-written message.
For each new boat listing that goes live, referring owners will make $100 after the initial completed rental of $200 or more. Then, they’ll receive an extra 5% in Boatsetter Boating Credits for the first five rentals.
Owners whose referral results in a requested and confirmed booking—whether it’s their boat or someone else’s—will receive $100. With over 600 Boatsetter locations, this is ideal for out-of-town acquaintances.
It’s easy to track the status of the referrals using the online or Boatsetter app dashboard. Altogether, the company says owners can add an extra $350 to their average yearly rental income of $4,600.
Fort Lauderdale-based Boatsetter connects owners and licensed captains with people who share their love of the water. It forms strategic partnerships with boatbuilders, marinas and related marine businesses to grow boating participation and ownership.
