Same-store sales up 2 percent in May

Boat dealer same-store sales were up 2 percent in May.

That’s according to the latest report from CDK Global Recreation, which is based on data from users of the company’s Lightspeed software.

In April, same-store sales were down nearly 3 percent.

Overall, three out of four same-store sales categories were up this reporting period, CDK Global Recreation reported.

Service (6.2 percent) and unit sales (3 percent) were up, but parts was down 14.5 percent during the rolling 12-month period ending May 2018.
