Skeeter introduces new addition to its Solera Series

Skeeter fishing boats announced that they will add a new boat to the Solera Series with the Solera 205, an all-new fish and play boat that combines the performance of Skeeter’s fishing boats with features that allow families to fish, play, and cruise.

The Solera 205 will be on display during the Chicago Boat, RV & Strictly Sail Show, Jan. 10-14, and the Minneapolis Boat Show, Jan. 11-14.

The Solera 205 is powered by a Yamaha VF250XA four-stroke outboard, and comes standard with the following features: Minn Kota Terrova 112-pound thrust trolling motor with new Lift-Assist design for easy stowing; a trolling motor sliding bracket; Minn Kota’s 10×4 Precision onboard charger; Humminbird HELIX 7; and Skeeter’s REACT KEEL, which tracks the hull in a straighter line in windy conditions.

Additional features found on the 205 also include storage for gear, a ski tow pylon and stand-up top for shade, a bow cushion package for added comfort, and a Bluetooth-capable Infinity stereo with four speakers.

“The Solera 205 is the big sister to the Solera 189. It offers the same fishing performance and family comfort, but in a larger, big water friendly boat,” said Jeff Wooldridge, National Sales Manager, Skeeter Boats. “With the Solera 205, you can head out for a morning of serious fishing and then pick up the family for an afternoon of water sports.”
