Jerry’s Marine Service employee, family die in car accident

Jerry’s Marine Service announced that employee Nate Russell and his family were involved in a fatal three-vehicle accident on I-75 on their way home from Georgia.

Russell, his wife Lynda, and three children – La’Nyah, Natayah and Nathan Jr. – lost their lives in the accident.

Russell ran the shipping department at Jerry’s Marine, providing tremendous help in the warehouse. Staff at Jerry’s Marine described him as a good employee.

“He’s a good guy, we’re going to miss him,” staff members said in a statement to Boating Industry.

The Russell family has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help cover the cost of funeral expenses, which Jerry’s Marine has shared with the industry. To donate, visit the GoFundMe page.
