OneWater Marine makes organizational changes

Atlanta-based OneWater Marine Holdings, LLC expanded its senior management team, promoting four key leaders in order to increase the company’s capacity for growth.

Since forming in late 2014, OneWater Marine Holdings has grown from 15 to 40 retail locations across six states; now representing 46 new boat brands.

“In order to support and accelerate our growth trajectory for 2017 and beyond, it was necessary for us to expand our senior management team,” said OneWater Chief Operating Officer Anthony Aisquith. “The creation of these new roles allows us to implement process improvements across the broader organization while simultaneously on-boarding more acquired dealerships.”

Four existing team members had their roles expanded beginning January 1, 2017.

  • Scott Cunningham, Sr. was named executive vice president of retail operations. Cunningham joined OneWater’s predecessor, Singleton Marine Group, in 2009, bringing two decades’ worth of industry and sales expertise to the organization. Cunningham will lead process improvements across the enterprise as a whole while evaluating potential acquisition targets and supporting new dealer integrations.
  • David K. Witty was named vice president of retail operations. Witty joined OneWater in late 2015 and has led SunDance Marine in Southeast Florida during the interim. He brings 29-years of marine retail experience to the role and will concentrate on the integration of new dealerships to the OneWater Marine operating model, as well as boats shows and process improvements.
  • Alan Giddens was named vice president of retail operations. Giddens founded Captain’s Choice Marine more than 30 years ago before joining OneWater through acquisition in 2015. Giddens’s focus will be on new dealer transitions, internal process improvements, as well as special projects.
  • Donald Drummonds was named vice president of retail operations. Drummonds joined the organization in early 2014 to lead the company’s used boat strategy. He will continue to lead the used boat effort while supporting new dealer on-boarding and internal process improvements.

“We believe that in expanding each of these roles, OneWater will be better positioned for rapid growth in the years ahead,” said Mr. Aisquith.

OneWater Marine Holdings is dedicated to acquiring and operating top marine retail dealerships in North America. With an aggressive expansion strategy, OneWater offers exit options for existing marine dealer owner/operators. Learn more about OneWater Marine Holdings at www.OneWaterMarine.com.
