Centurion has released its new Ri217, a 21-foot, 7-inch towboat built to offerWorld Championship level wakesurfing, wakeboarding, ride and handling. The boat can accommodate as many as 14 people and maintain a manageable size for towing and driving. The Ri217 Modified Deep-v Hull was specifically shaped to create optimal waves, wakes and ride.
The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) chose Centurion Boats as the Official Towboat of the IWWF Wakeboard Worlds after testing the Ri217. This foundation of performance is innovated by as much as 4950 pounds of ballast with 45-second filling RAMFILL, the Centurion Articulating Tracking System (CATS), the Stinger or new available patented Silent Stinger Wake Plate and available QuickSurf Pro surf system. Set the boat up for dawn patrol wakeboarding and then move strait to a mid-morning surf session simply by turning QuickSurf Pro on and choosing surf left or right.
The Ri217 was built with under water gear, finely tuned chines and sharpened strakes to be extremely responsive at slow and high speeds. The driver also has multi-tasking control over every boat system with the Patented Side by Side (SxS) HD Touch Vision Dash.
Exclusive Comfort Strong marine vinyl by Spradling is sewn together with double and triple seams of Gore Tenera Thread by GORETEX. This creates upholstery that is intended to be soft to the touch while maintaining strength and longevity even in high stress areas of the interior. The seating is stuffed with three densities of foam ergonomically contoured for comfort. The Ri Series interior also includes the three-position Slide Seat, available directional lean-backs and table. The lounge also offers pull-up lean-back for another rear-facing seat.
