New York Boat Show and exhibitors to ring New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell
CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Progressive Insurance New York Boat Show announced it is ringing the New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell today, Jan. 8, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time, along with its partner, Progressive Insurance and a host of show exhibitors from companies including Azimut, Boston Whaler, MarineMax, Mercury Marine, Regulator Marine, Sailfish, Scout Boats and Sea Ray.
The ringing of the bell will close the trading floor and signal the start to the New York Boat Show’s busy selling weekend while ushering in boat show season around the country.
Rick Stern, Progressive Insurance boat product manager, alongside Thom Dammrich, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), did the official ringing of the NYSE Closing Bell.
This year’s New York Boat Show marks its 111th year and features more than 325 exhibitors displaying hundreds of boats and cutting edge technologies for sale.
