THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Pro Yacht Management will refurbish six Waterway Cruisers belonging to The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau. The contract is worth $240,000, or $40,000 per boat.
Pro Yacht Management, based in Kemah, Texas, is owned by Buck Beasley. His proposal was approved after a presentation to the board. He also told the board that the company often completes work below budget.
The project is expected to be completed by October, according to The Woodlands Villager.
Proposed improvements include: algae removal, moving the exhaust closer to the water line, painting the hull, the interior and as many as eight coats on the bottom, as well as the installation of a rubber rub railing to absorb the impact of collisions.
