AUCKLAND, New Zealand — An increase in pleasure boat exports helped increase New Zealand’s overall export by 10 percent to $4.6 billion in May.
Exports in the ships, boats and floating structures category were up from $9 million a year earlier to $108 million last month, mainly due to the rise in pleasure boats, according to a report on ShareChat.no.nz.
Other categories with increases include dairy, wood products and aircraft parts.
