Glencove Marine under new ownership
LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Sherry Jackson, a 24 year employee of Glencove Marine, and her husband Bruce have purchased the original Glencove Marine facility on Lake of the Ozarks outright from its former majority owner. The new Glencove Marina will retain the “Glencove” name and continue to offer the same services.
“My partner and I actually split our three locations up, selling two of them to the people who signed on with Formula Boats after we decided not to renew with Formula last year,” Jackson told Boating Industry. “It’s a fresh start, clean slate, and we are off to the races.”
Many of the employees that have worked for Glencove over the years will remain intact, according to Jackson.
“This is really a new era for Glencove Marina,” she said. “My husband and I look forward to the Glencove team providing the same great sales and service that they have been known for over the past 27 years. We are not believers that bigger is always better and it is our dream to take Glencove back to its roots as a home town marina. Glencove has been a recognizable marine name here at the lake since 1984, and we are thrilled to be able to continue that tradition with an even heightened level of excellence and customer dedication.”
