Coastal Properties renews Yorktown marina contract
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Coastal Properties Management (CPM) will continue to manage the Yorktown, Va., marina piers at Riverwalk Landing.
It first won the contract in 2005 as the town was developing the new facility for use by transient, recreational boaters cruising the Chesapeake Bay, as well as a base of operations for a local schooner to run day-excursions. The two long floating concrete piers also accommodate tall ships from around the world and commercial cruise ships. Vessels of up to 400’ in length can be accommodated for transient dockage.
Coastal Properties has been in the marine industry for 30 years in the fields of marina and property management services, consulting, facility development, design and acquisition analysis, including a commercial Real Estate division. Coastal currently manages and owns several marinas throughout the Chesapeake Bay region from Baltimore, Maryland to Yorktown, Virginia and on the Potomac River.
