Brunswick brands to use Interlux
UNION, N.J. – Interlux recently partnered with Brunswick Boat Group, where Fiberglass Bottomkote Aqua has been selected as the premier product in all Sea Ray, Meridian and Bayliner production.
According to Interlux, the low odor formulation has extremely low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) content, making it highly suitable for a manufacturing environment with minimum disruption and reduced stack emissions.
“The paint system we have developed for Brunswick will result in significant manufacturing process efficiencies and deliver the added value of a high performance antifouling finish to buyers of these new Brunswick boats,“ Mike Kent, Interlux OEM manager, said in a statement. “The Sea Ray, Meridian and Bayliner production teams require a series of stringent tests, including sea trials, before they approve the use of new products. Fiberglass Bottomkote Aqua passed all of the appropriate tests.”
