Robalo partners with Garmin
OLATHE, Kan. — Robalo Boats has selected Garmin International Inc., as its exclusive electronics supplier for its line of outboard powered fishing boats. The relationship was announced in conjunction with the Miami International Boat Show, and Garmin exclusivity across the entire line of Robalo boats is expected to begin immediately.
“Robalo chose Garmin as our exclusive navigational electronics partner due to its strong brand awareness, intuitive designs and overall value,” said Jim Lane, President of Robalo Boats. “Its products are user friendly and will help promote a more enjoyable boating experience for our customers.”
Garmin electronics will be installed at the factory to ten Robalo boat models, which stretch from 22 to 30 feet. The electronics will include touchscreen multi-function displays and robust portrait plotters. The full suite of Garmin electronics selected by Robalo also includes the GMR(TM) 24HD high-definition radome; the GMR 404 open array radar; the GSD(TM) 22 digital sonar; the VHF 100 and 200 marine radios; and GXM 51 XM satellite weather/audio antenna.
