Yacht builders get help navigating IBEX

BROOKLIN, Maine – Yacht builders attending IBEX 2007 will now be able to streamline their visit by walking the newly created Yacht Building Trade Route, organizers reported in a recent statement.

With more than 255,000 square feet of exhibit space and upwards of 900 exhibitors, IBEX Show Management said it wanted to assist attending yacht builders, specifically those who manufacture boats over 70 feet, in making the most of their time at IBEX.

More than 100 exhibitors who manufacturer products, technologies, and services to the yacht market have qualified to be included on the new trade route. Floor stickers throughout the exhibit hall will identify the participating exhibitors. In addition, a list of Yacht Building Trade Route exhibitors and their booth numbers will be listed in the IBEX Booth Guide available at all entrances.

“Not all IBEX exhibitors offer products for yacht building. By creating the Yacht Building Trade Route, attending yacht builders will be able to efficiently see the exhibitors who offer products and services specifically for their level of boat building” said Anne Dunbar, IBEX marketing director. “Anything we can do to assist our attendees make the most of their time at the show is a positive improvement.”
