Vinings’ marina portfolio grows

ATLANTA – Vinings Marine Group LLC has acquired Saylorville Lake Marina in Polk City, Iowa, its 10th marina property since the company was formed in 2004.

The marina’s former owners, Dan and Tammy Stanbrough, had made $6 million in improvements to the marina over the preceding three years, according to an article yesterday in the Des Moines Register. Those improvements included new docks, hundreds of boat slips and a restaurant.

In addition to its new Iowa property, Vinings Marine Group currently owns marinas in Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan and Kansas.
