Voyager Marine enters new markets
CAMDENTON, Mo. – Aluminum pontoon boat builder Lake Raider, Inc. d/b/a Voyager Marine is expanding, entering the bass boat, bay boat and jon boat markets with the mid-year introduction of 2008 model year products, the company reported in a recent statement.
The company, which said it has experienced steady annual growth since its inception in 1988, currently has dealers located throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Spain, and Australia.
Its new initiative will include the construction of an additional 25,000-square-foot manufacturing plant to house all monohull production lines, painting and drying booths, and finish lines for the Voyager Boats product lines, enhanced metal fabrication processes to support the Voyager Pontoons and Voyager Boats assembly operations,
as well as major on-site infrastructure changes to facilitate increased product shipping, material receiving, finished product staging, and boat testing on a private impoundment located on the company’s property.
