IBBI signs up new member
BENTON, Ill. – Buying group Independent Boat Builders, Inc. (IBBI) has added its 23rd member-owner, Bennington Marine, it reported in a statement yesterday. Bennington’s brands include Bennington, Azure, Southwind, and Sedona.
“Bennington is a great addition to our membership list,” said IBBI President Tom Broy. “They are already proving to be a perfect fit with the other owners of our organization with their eagerness to support the group’s common goals.”
Bennington Marine was formerly a member of the United Marine Manufacturers Association.
“Bennington Marine chose IBBI because of its positive reputation in the industry as well as its strong array of member builders.” said Steve Vogel, Bennington’s president. “The IBBI is a natural fit for all four of the Bennington brands. We look forward to working in concert with the group to improve buying opportunities and creating further synergies with the member companies.”
