IBEX to feature new pavilion
BROOKLIN, Maine — IBEX 2007, a trade show for boat builders, designers, repairers, surveyors, and boatyard/marine operators that is scheduled to take place Oct. 10-12 in Miami, will host the first ever Compliance & Standards Resource Pavilion, organizers reported in a statement yesterday. Approximately one dozen exhibitors are already signed on to exhibit in the new area.
“Come prepared to challenge us with your problems and expect nothing else but solutions.” said Marnix J. Hoekstra of Rulefinder.net, a pavilion participant.
“What started out at IBEX a few years ago as an out-of-the-way corner of USCG, ABYC and NMMA Certification booths has now grown into a pavilion of both U.S. and international organizations involved in all phases of regulations, standards and assessments. This is another example of how IBEX has grown into an international show, responsive to the global boating community,” commented Thomas Marhevko, VP of Engineering Standards for NMMA.
The exhibitors participating in the new Compliance & Standards Resource Pavilion will provide services ranging from compliance inspections and certifications to all necessary requirements for small craft and their components, organizers said. Limited exhibit space is available in the new Compliance & Standards Resource Pavilion. Companies interested in receiving exhibitor information can contact Tina Sanderson at 802–879–8324 or Anne Dunbar at 716–662–4708.
IBEX is owned and produced by Professional BoatBuilder magazine and National Marine Manufacturers Association. For more information, visit the IBEX Web site at www.ibexshow.com.
