Many dealers create some form of a publication for their current and potential customers, whether online, as small, pamphlet-style newsletters or full-color, magazine-like publications, but we didn’t run into anything like what we saw from Seattle Boat Co. (Ranked 16 in 2006).

This classy, unique book the dealer has produced speaks to the incredible lifestyle the dealer offers. But more than that, it does so in a first-class manner that screams of professionalism and attention to detail.

The hard-cover book is emblazoned with the dealer’s logo and the tagline: “Experience Excellence.” And the invitation on the first and last pages of the book is quite simple: “Join the Family.”

With images that perfectly illustrate the boating lifestyle, the book is packed with information that is critical to discovering the dream that boating promises. It kicks off with a letter from CEO Alan Bohling, describes the company’s facilities, the boat builders the company represents, its management style, operational objectives and company goals.

The overview of its customer service beliefs is backed by testimonials from customers in addition to highlights of the “highly trained and dedicated staff.” And finally, there’s info regarding the company’s unique marketing strategy, its mission statement, values and vision.

It’s the above and beyond attitude that gives Seattle Boat Co. the ability to deliver on that mission statement, which focuses on being the best in quality, value and luxurious products. And this book underscores that mission.
