MasterCraft start new warranty program

VONORE, Tenn. – MasterCraft has begun a new reimbursement program and will now pay its dealers a 10 percent mark-up on warranty parts, provided they meet certain customer service criteria, the company reported in a recent release.

The criteria the dealers must adhere to include staffing certified technicians, utilizing the proper diagnostic tools and having any boat issue resolved within a 30-day time frame.

MasterCraft already pays a 100 percent retail shop labor rate to its dealers for warranty work.

“MasterCraft believes its retail customer should always receive outstanding customer service in every area,” says Terry Bell, MasterCraft’s chief operating officer. “We also believe we should fairly compensate our dealers for providing that outstanding customer service. In doing so, we encourage dealers to be the best when it comes to truly taking care of the MasterCraft consumer.”

The warranty reimbursement program took effect yesterday.
