MarineMax opens two new locations
CLEARWATER, Fla. – Recreational boat retailer MarineMax Inc., has expanded its dealership network with the opening of locations in Baltimore and Tennessee, the company reported recently in separate press releases.
MarineMax of the Tennessee River is located in Chattanooga, Tenn., while MarineMax Baltimore is situated on Baltimore Harbor.
The dealerships are the 70th and 71st for MarineMax nationwide.
MarineMax of the Tennessee River will sell Meridian yachts, Century boats, Princecraft pontoon and fishing boats and Ferretti Group yachts and sportboats. It will also feature brokerage services, with brokers not just in Chattanooga, but along the entire length of the Tennessee River, from Huntsville, Alabama to Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee.
Financing options will be available through the dealership.
The city of Chattanooga has contracted MarineMax to manage the city’s waterfront. MarineMax will manage 2,800 linear feet of seawall, which is available for transient docking. It will also oversee two floating docks on the river – a 550′ dock and a double-sided 280′ dock – which are expected to be ready for use in early June. The marina will sell fuel and gas and will offer a pump out station. A MarineMax dock master will be available seven days a week during boating season to assist with reservations and docking.
MarineMax Baltimore
MarineMax Baltimore will specialize in Sea Ray and Ferretti Group products, as well as brokerage services. It is the company’s third dealership in Maryland.
The store will be the largest Sea Ray dealer on the Chesapeake Bay and will have the largest inventory of Sea Rays in Maryland. In addition to carrying the full line of Sea Rays, MarineMax Baltimore will also specialize in Bertram sportyachts and other Ferretti Group brands, including Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Riva, Apreamare, CRN and Custom Line.
Dockside service to any dock will be available to customers by a MarineMax mobile service technician.
