First-ever San Diego Summer Boat Show planned for 2004

ORANGE, Calif. – The Southern California Marine Association (SCMA) will produce the inaugural San Diego Summer Boat Show, to be held July 22-25, 2004 at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina in San Diego, the association reported in a recent statement.

The event will be produced in conjunction with the Port of San Diego and the Sheraton Hotel and Marina, and is the city’s first effort to hold a show during the height of California’s boating season, according to SCMA.

More than 200 exhibitors are expected to display a wide arrange of vessels, including powerboats, sailboats, inflatables and ocean-going yachts, the association stated. The Discover Boating
Center will also be offered at the show.
