Ward’s Marine Electric expands with a new location
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Ward’s Marine Electric is expanding, moving its headquarters to its new facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the company reported in a statement yesterday.
The new facility is located just a few blocks from the spot where Ward’s Marine Electric was founded 53 years ago. The facility features the a complete selection of marine electrical parts, walk-in service, and marine inventory 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by fax and phone, the company stated.
In addition to the Fort Lauderdale location, Ward’s Marine Electric has also opened a second service center to meet the growing needs of yacht owners and captains in the West Palm Beach/Treasure Coast area. Four ABYC certified marine electricians will operate out of this satellite location, according to the company.
Ward’s service fleet consists of 19 ABYC certified marine electricians on staff, ready to provide dockside service to yacht owners in ports of call around the world.
“Many companies offer marine electric on their menu of services,” said Ward Eshleman II, president/owner. “Here, however, marine electric is our only area of concentration. It is what we do, and all of our resources are devoted to this critical category of marine service.”
