NEW YORK – Sea Tow Services International Inc. ranked No. 4802 this year on Inc. magazine’s 2011 list of the fastest growing private companies in the nation. The list consists of the fastest growing privately held, for profit, and independent, companies in the U.S. over the past three years. A complete list of this year’s companies can be found here.
Since 2007, Sea Tow has posted a 9 percent sales growth, earning them a spot on the 500|5000 list for 2007-2010. This is the second appearance on the list for Sea Tow. In 2007, the Long Island-based company ranked 4489 on Inc magazine’s list, after a three-year sales growth of 43.8 percent.
“We are proud to be ranked once again among the businesses Inc. magazine has singled out as the fastest-growing private companies in America,” Sea Tow Founder and CEO Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer stated in a press release.
Inc. magazine has been in publication since 1979, directed at owners and managers of private companies. They have been hosting the 500|5000 list of the fastest growing private companies for five years.
Sea Tow International Inc. was founded in 1983 by CEO Joe Frohnhoefer and is the largest marine assistance provider in the U.S.
