Bayliner adds to dealer network

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Bayliner recently announced the addition of several new dealers and markets to its distribution network. Since mid-2009, Bayliner has signed 51 new dealerships in the United States and Canada with additional agreements pending, according to the company.

“We are fortunate to have a brand with the strong reach and reputation that Bayliner enjoys,” Pat Blake, vice president of global sales, said in a release. “Our historical dealers, many of whom have been with us for decades, have done a tremendous job maintaining our leadership share in bowriders and cruiser sales worldwide. In every open market, we have had tremendous interest in the brand, allowing us to move forward with the best dealer from a sales and customer service perspective.”

New Bayliner dealers since 2009 include Angler’s Choice of Martinsville, Va., Bayer Marine of Tulsa, Okla., Hilmerson RV&Marine of Little Falls, Minn., and many others.

Jeff Behan, president of Bayliner, adds, “We have a tremendous dealer network,” Behan said. “In November, our dealer network strength was illustrated when 25 of Boating Industry’s Top 100 dealers in North America were Bayliner dealers. We enjoy the top market share in runabouts, and are second only to our sister brand Sea Ray in cruisers. We have our dealers to thank for this leadership and continued achievement in high customer satisfaction. We’re looking to our new dealers to help Bayliner extend that lead in 2011.”
