Executive Spotlight – Keep boating a pleasurable experience

I see two big challenges facing the marine industry in 2005. For small business suppliers to the industry, the big challenge is dealing with escalating costs that we have no direct control over such as raw material prices and the cost of providing employee health benefits. An even larger challenge for the entire industry is to generate enthusiasm for boating.

To do this, we must provide accessible, clean, friendly waterways with customer-driven marinas and inviting facilities. This will keep boating a pleasurable experience for current enthusiasts and develop new boaters.
