Scout Boats receives fifth Roaring Twenties Award

Scout Boats has been named a Roaring Twenties award recipient – one of the 20 best-performing large companies in South Carolina for 2018, for the fifth year in a row.

This statewide honor is presented annually by SC Biz News and recognizes the South Carolina’s 20 best-performing small and 20 best-performing large companies (for a total of 40 companies) based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue from the previous year.

A profile of Scout Boats will be published in the winter issue of SCBIZ magazine. All winners were honored on Oct. 25, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia, S.C.

“This is a prestigious statewide award and we’re humbled that we were selected as one of the top 20 large companies for a fifth year in a row,” said Scout CEO and Founder Steve Potts. “This has been quite an accomplishment for Scout, as I’ve been told few companies make it back-to-back years much less five consecutive years considering thousands of nominations and growing every year.”

In order to qualify for the Roaring Twenties designation, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization. Government entities and charitable organizations, including 501(c)3 organizations are not eligible.
