Dometic promotes Ned Trigg to EVP of marine division

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Dometic Group, a global provider of leisure products for the marine, truck, caravan, motor home and automotive markets, today announced the promotion of Ned Trigg to executive vice president of the company’s marine division.

In his new role, Trigg will be the business leader for the marine OEM and aftermarket divisions for the Americas region. This includes sales, application engineering, customer service, manufacturing operations and new product development strategies.

“Ned Trigg brings a wealth of experience across all of our target markets – from leisure boating and yachting to workboat, commercial and military markets,” said Frank Marciano, president of Dometic Americas. “Over the last 27 years, Mr. Trigg has worked closely with our design, engineering, manufacturing and sales teams, offering boat builders and end-customers a single source for innovative comfort products and on-board systems. I have personally worked with Ned for over 16 years and I can think of no one better to take on this important role.”

Reporting directly to Trigg will be Vice President of Engineering and Technical Support Charlie Barefoot; Vice President of Aftermarket Sales Ken Taranto; and Operations Manager Matt Ehlschide.

Trigg’s previous role was senior vice president of global system sales, marine division. In that role, he served two years in the United States and three years in Dometic’s Dorset, U.K., office. His prior positions at Dometic were vice president of global system sales and senior director of international and OEM marine sales, both U.S.-based. Earlier in his career, Trigg was manager of international sales at Cruisair and Taylor Made Environmental, a marine equipment provider acquired by Dometic Corporation in 2003.
