Maverick Boat Company has record Miami Boat Show
Miami Beach – Maverick Boat Company, Inc. (MBC), builders of the Maverick, Hewes, Pathfinder and Cobia brands reported record sales at this year’s Miami Boat Show. Celebrating its 30th anniversary as a company this year, MBC set new highs both in unit volume and total dollars.
Sales were buoyed by the debuts of the Cobia 277CC and the Pathfinder 2600 TRS, Pathfinder’s first offering laid out to focus on entertaining as much as fishing. The Cobia brand also saw brisk sales with the popular 296CC and 344CC, which debuted last year at Miami. The newly redesigned Maverick 18 HPX saw a strong response, as did the Maverick 17 HPX-V and 17 HPX-V II. Initially developed in Miami and still commonly considered a hometown brand, the Hewes brand continued a long history of success at the show. Sales for Pathfinders were equally spread across its six different models, with the 2600 HPS garnering a lot of attention.
This year marks the 29th straight year that MBC has participated in the show. The previous sales records were eclipsed by Sunday midday, leaving what turned out to be an unprecedented rest of the day and Monday that put the former records far in the distance.
“We all went into this show with great optimism but frankly the response to our products across the board exceeded our wildest expectations. What a great way to kick off our 30th anniversary year!” said Scott Deal, founder and CEO of MBC boats.
