Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
RALEIGH, N.C. — A website upgrade for North Carolina Sportsman Magazine now offers free classified advertisements for selling outdoor-related items, including boats.
"The most advantageous use of these ads is for people trying to sell boats," said Andy Crawford of North Carolina Sportsman. "The market for selling boats on the Internet is flooded with websites that charge premium fees to list a boat for sale, and we're giving people another platform on North Carolina Sportsman where they can list their boat for free."
The publisher employed the same classifieds model it has used for other similar state publications.
The recent redesign of NorthCarolinaSportsman.com also makes classified ads more prominent, dedicating a large section of homepage real estate to the latest ads.
