West Marine schedules product review day for February
WATSONVILLE, Calif. — West Marine has scheduled its seventh New Product Review Day for Feb. 19 at its Watsonville-based Support Center, according to a release from the company.
The event allows prospective vendors to pitch new products to various West Marine category managers for consideration and the chance to be sold in West Marine’s 330 retail stores and through its Web site, online catalog or other channels.
“West Marine is committed to sourcing the best, cutting-edge equipment and gear,” Ron Japinga, EVP of merchandising for West Marine, said in the release. “Our New Product Review Day is always a highly anticipated event as it allows West Marine Associates the opportunity to personally meet with vendors and inventors responsible for creating the latest in cutting edge, high quality products for our customers.”
