Marine electronics firm Furuno has launched its Spectacular Rebate Event, an offer that extends to 35 products with rebate amounts ranging from $50 to $1,000. Examples of these products are LCD radars (1623, 1715), fish finders (FCV620, FCV585), chart plotters (GP7000, GP7000F), as well as autopilots (NavPilot 511) and its full line of NMEA2000 instruments (FI-50 Series). In addition, savings are available on the entire NavNet 3D MFD and DRS radar product line, including add-on sensors, and MU-Series Marine Monitors. Boat builder Grady-White Boats has launched its Grady Days promotion, through which consumers can visit their Grady-White dealer and get up to $17,000 in factory-sponsored boat and engine incentives on a new boat. Pricing varies by model, but every new Grady is eligible – including 2009 and 2010 models. The promotion runs now through Nov. 2.

The NMEA 2000 Network, the international networking marine electronics industry open standard for communication on vessels, will be demonstrated at a special event called ConnectFest, scheduled to be held at METS trade fair in Amsterdam this November, the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) reported in a recent statement. Also at METS, a special NMEA workshop, “Getting Your Boat Ready for Marine Electronics,” will be offered. Both events are organized by NMEA and are free for trade personnel. Bay Harbor Lake Marina, a Michigan marina located in the resort community of Bay Harbor, four miles west of Petoskey, Michigan, has been recertified as a “Michigan Clean Marina” by the Michigan Clean Marina Program (CMP) Committee. Bay Harbor was originally certified in 2006 for three years. The recertification is for 5 years. In addition, All Seasons Marine, a family-owned Michigan marina located in the community of South Haven on Lake Michigan has been named a “Michigan Clean Marina” by the Michigan Clean Marina Program (CMP) Committee. The Clean Marina Program (CMP) is a joint undertaking by the Michigan Boating Industries Association, Michigan Sea Grant, and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

Nautique’s 2009 Nautique product brochure and 2010 Crossover Nautique 226 brochure recently received “best of the best” print awards at the 22nd Annual Florida Print Awards, reported Correct Craft in a recent statement. The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) presented the awards during a banquet at the Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Orlando. Established in 1988, the Florida Print Awards is a statewide graphic arts competition that recognizes individuals, companies and organizations responsible for the creation of print communications.

As stainless steel fabricator Dive N Dog celebrates its six-year anniversary, the Naples, Fla.-based company has not only noted the growth in its product line – from a single ladder to nearly 400 items – it has acknowledged its facility growth. The Dive N Dog operation’s square footage has doubled and will double again within the next 6 months, according to the company.
