Taylor Made Group invests in Tempabend Ltd.
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. –Taylor Made Group, Inc. has made an equity investment in Tempabend Ltd., Hamilton, New Zealand, a producer of tempered/toughened glass, the company reported in a recent statement.
Tempabend’s curved glass products include large marine applications as well as rooflites, balustrades, stairways, elevators, partitions and other architectural elements.
“The investment in Tempabend Ltd. furthers the company’s goal to provide capabilities of specialized glass operations worldwide,” said Dennis Flint, president of Taylor Made Group.
Taylor Made Group, Inc., which supplies boat builders and the aftermarket, includes Taylor Made Products, Taylor Made Systems, Taylorbrite LLC, Taylor Made Glass Systems, Taylor Made Overseas LLC, Trend Marine Products Ltd. and Water Bonnet Manufacturing, Inc. It operates 12 facilities in the United States, the Republic of Ireland, England, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico, and employs more than 1,500 associates.
