MarineMax to hold online pre-owned boat sales event
CLEARWATER, Fla. – MarineMax and eBay have partnered to create what they are calling “the world’s largest online pre-owned boat blowout,” to be held June 14-24, MarineMax reported in a recent statement.
In addition to having hundreds of pre-owned boats for sale on its own site, MarineMax will also list approximately 150 boats on its “Power-Seller” eBay marine store.
“At MarineMax, we know that customers appreciate an easy, hassle-free sales process, and that’s one of the reasons we decided to host an online sales event,” said MarineMax’s Rob Bowman. “By pooling the pre-owned boat inventory from our dealerships across the country and offering it online, we are able to give customers access to a huge selection of boats without asking them to even leave their house. Because of our large inventory, we have priced everything below market value. Several boats will have starting bids as low as $1.”
Both www.MarineMaxBlowout.com and www.MarineMaxeBay.com will contain comprehensive information and photos of boats for sale, according to MarineMax, which said it will arrange delivery of boats for buyers that may be in other parts of the country through its nationwide network of dealers. Customers purchasing boats during the event will tap into the MarineMax sales, service and ownership network, including free classes like Women on Water and Kids in Boating, the company added.
All makes, models, and sizes will be available during the event, including the largest number of pre-owned Sea Rays ever to be found on the web, MarineMax said.
