Hexion Specialty Chemicals to increase prices

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Composite Polymers business of Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc., will increase the price of all unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resin $0.05 to $0.07 per pound effective for products shipped on / or after July 1, the company said in a release this week.

This price increase is in addition to the June 1 increase.

Hexion Specialty Chemical’s Composite Polymers business produces a broad range of unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins for use in reinforced composites and cast polymer products. These customized resins are formulated for use in a variety of markets including, transportation, construction, infrastructure, marine and consumer goods.
