MarineMax building new Ohio facility

CLEVELAND – Boat retailer MarineMax is building a new facility in Mentor, Ohio, the company reported in a recent statement.

Opening in early fall of 2007, the new dealership will provide the east-of-Cleveland market with service, parts, winterization, storage and sales, it stated.

“The Cleveland area has a tremendous boating community. While the MarineMax dealership in Port Clinton serves boaters west of Cleveland, we had many customers living east of Cleveland request a location closer to home,” said Brett McGill, Midwest regional president of MarineMax.

Located on Tyler Boulevard, just off of Route 2 in Mentor, the new MarineMax facility will feature an indoor service facility, parts and accessories center and sales floor. The 4-acre landscaped grounds were designed to meet customers’ winterization and storage needs. MarineMax Mentor will also feature Sea Ray products.
