Over 100 attend NMDA Conference

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Over 100 senior executives of marine products distributors, manufacturers and manufacturers representative firms attended the 25th Executive Conference hosted by the National Marine Distributors Association (NMDA) in Rosemont, Ill., the association reported in a recent statement. The two-day conference at the Sheraton Gateway Suites Hotel concluded yesterday.

“This unique event gives top managers in the products market an opportunity to resolve supply chain issues, exchange product ideas and plan for the future,” said NMDA Executive Director Nancy Cueroni.

General sessions were also be held to discuss industry-wide issues, share ideas for building business and recap the NMDA’s annual industry cost study and profit report. Business consultant Terry Brock also keynoted with a presentation on the importance of relationships in a business world dominated by e-commerce and technology.

NMDA is the trade association for U.S. and Canadian marine products distributors. Members include distributors, many product manufacturers and manufacturers representatives.
