Wellcraft names its top dealers for 2004

SARASOTA, Fla. – Florida boat manufacturer Wellcraft has named its top-performing dealers in the customer satisfaction and sales volume categories for the 2004 model year, the company said yesterday in a release.

Conanicut Marine of Jamestown, R.I., was recognized for having achieved the highest Customer Satisfaction Index score during the 2004 model year, followed by Northlake Marine of Slidell, La., Lynnhaven Marine of Virginia Beach, Va., Anchor Boats of Northeast, Md., and Walkers Marine of Marco Island, Fla.

Other Wellcraft dealers recording a superior CSI score in 2004 were Cope’s Landing Marine, Boat Warehouse, Johnson’s Best Buy Marine, Carolina Boat & Yacht, Route Six Auto & Marine, Holmes Beach Marina and Day Island Boatworks. Murray Marine, Richmond Marine Center, The Boat Center, Inc., Allpower Marina and Bass River Marina completed the CSI honor roll.

Sundance Marine of Pompano Beach, Fla., was named largest Wellcraft dealer for retail sales volume during the same period. Dave Bofill Marine of Southampton, N.Y., captured second-place honors, with Marine Dynamics of Englewood, Fla., third, Ocean Beach Marina of Lavallette N.J., fourth and Carolina Boat & Yachts of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C., fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Bass River Marina of West Dennis, Mass., Sunrise Marine of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., All Seasons Marina of Marmora, N.J., Hewitt’s Cove of Hingham, Mass., and Lynnhaven Marine of Virginia Beach, Va.

Chris Wainscott, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for Wellcraft, cited those retailers at the company’s September dealer meeting in Las Vegas.
