Jeanneau Yards awarded ISO 14001
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Jeanneau Yards was recently awarded ISO 14001, a certification given to companies that work to improve and standardize their environmental policies, the company said in a release this morning.
After achieving ISO 9001 (quality) certification in 2002, the entire staff at Jeanneau was involved during this project, which measured the impact of activities on the environment. It has led the way towards new approaches to working, Jeanneau said.
The ISO 14001 certification process represents an opportunity to improve the global effectiveness of the entire company, according to the release.
