Raymarine to sponsor North Sails Race Week
NASHUA, N.H. – Marine electronics manufacturer Raymarine Inc. will sponsor the North Sail Race Week held in June in California, an event drawing some of the top sailors from across the U.S. who will compete in Performance Handicap Racing Fleet (PHRF) and one-design class boats, according to a company press release today.
“Each year we receive a tremendous number of requests to sponsor events, we closely review all the proposals before making decisions as to which we will sponsor,” said Terry Carlson, president of Raymarine, Inc. “By committing to a high level role for a group of select events, we can play a viable part in making these sponsorships a success. We take our role of sponsorship seriously, and work with event organizers to make sure that we are leveraged in the best possible way to support them.”
A sponsorship request form is available on the Raymarine Web site for those interested in submitting proposals for sponsorships. It should be completed and returned to Raymarine by Oct. 15 for all requests for sponsorship for 2005, the company said.
