National Safe Boating Week breaks life jacket world record
BRISTOW, Va. – Participants in National Safe Boating Week’s Ready, Set, Inlfate! on May 21 broke another world record for the number of people who inflated their life jacket, according to a release from the National Safe Boating Council.
The second annual Ready, Set, Inflate! brought together more than 1,685 people to 99 events around the world to set the new world record, which was previously held by participants of last year’s event.
Hosted by the National Safe Boating Council in partnership with the Canadian Safe Boating Council, Ready, Set, Inflate! has kicked off National Safe Boating Week the past two years.
