Siren Connected Boat Mobile App Receives Major Upgrade
Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit and Siren Marine just released a major update to the Siren Connected Boat™ mobile app, delivering a more personalized, intuitive and connected experience for boaters.
“We continue to lead the industry in Connected Boat technology, and this update raises the bar again. This update reflects how we continue to evolve this cutting-edge technology alongside our customers, dealers and boat builder partners,” said Andrew Cullen, Director, Connectivity, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit, in a news release. “We focused on simplifying the experience, adding practical functionality and making it easier for boaters to stay connected to what matters most.”
According to the company, the updated Connected Boat mobile app introduces several key enhancements designed to improve usability, engagement and long-term value for boat owners:
- Redesigned Onboarding Experience. The app now identifies and pre-populates a user’s boat.
- Enhanced Maintenance Recording. The maintenance tracking system has been fully redesigned for a faster and simplified user experience.
- Explore Mode Enhancements. The Explore Mode has also been redesigned, focusing on education and engagement. It features a new in-app package builder to allow customers to customize their Siren systems.
- Sport Boat Integration. Yamaha’s new 29-foot sport boats now include factory-installed Siren 3 technology. Owners can activate their systems immediately and receive a one-year Siren service plan at no cost. The app enables users to monitor vessel location, battery levels and system status, while also expanding capabilities through Siren’s à la carte wireless sensors.
Siren hardware starts at just $299 for the Siren 3 device, according to the company, with service plans beginning at $18.75 per month. Dealers nationwide can install Siren 3 Pro and Siren 3 systems.
