Cobalt Boats caps sales year with dealer celebration
Cobalt Boats marked another strong year with a two-day event that celebrated its dealer network at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center near Dallas in Grapevine, Texas.
The mid-October event also provided a showcase for dealers to test-drive boats at the nearby Silver Lake Marina and preview the new 2019 Model A36BR.
Dealer Meeting Highlights
The general meeting gave the company the chance to recognize the 81 Cobalt dealerships that achieved a Net Promoter Score of plus-80, earning them the Cobalt 2018 CSI Award for customer service excellence.
Breakout sessions covered business development topics and a special interactive session with Cobalt’s engineering team on ‘Understanding the Design Expectations of the Cobalt Customer.’
Accompanying these activities were boat-testing opportunities and a vendor mall, where some 30 of Cobalt’s top vendor partners displayed products.
The meeting’s grand finale was a cocktail reception and awards banquet, honoring these Cobalt dealers with the highest combined Net Promoter Score (NPS) and sales volume:

Product Preview
The 2019 product preview focused on the new A36BR, a crossover companion boat to the A36 Coupe. The Model A36BR’s Bow Rider design incorporates a spacious bow with a deck that simultaneously allows for functional interior ergonomics and a greater variety of day-boat features.
Maintaining the profile of the A36 Coupe, the A36BR offers a level cockpit floor for comfortable seating, a deep and spacious bow area that gives it its name, and a quiet running experience via improved sound insulation and sealing in the engine compartment and cabin.
Matching the original A36 Coupe’s performance and handling, the A36BR shares an extended running surface that makes both models exceptionally smooth and stable at high speeds.
Initial deliveries for the new A36BR are scheduled for early 2019.
