Navico director of sales named to NMEA Board of Directors
Navico, manufacturer of marine electronics and parent company to the Lowrance, Simrad and B&G brands, announced that Sean Hatherley, director of sales for Navico Americas, has been named to the board of directors of the National Marine Electronics Association. NMEA board members are appointed to a three-year term where they work together to create and promote NMEA strategies and programs.
“The NMEA is a vital organization that supports the industry in the development of safe and effective recreational marine electronics,” said Hatherley. “I am honored to join the board of directors and look forward to helping drive the organization to achieve its goals in the coming years.”
Hatherley has been sales director at Navico since 2014, overseeing everything from sales to technical installers, local retail accounts and wholesale distribution in the Americas. He works with a team of territory sales managers covering all of Navico’s recreational brands. Hatherley has an electronics engineering degree and an extensive background in marine electronics sales and support.
