Boston Whaler launches redesigned website

On Sept. 21, Boston Whaler launched a new approach to its website, bostonwhaler.com. Designed for a user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality throughout, the reimagined site is built to provide visitors with engaging lifestyle content and deeper insight into owning a Whaler. Customers can now more easily access detailed information about Boston Whaler’s product lineup.

“The new bostonwhaler.com demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with an intuitive and enjoyable user experience,” said Jeff Vaughn, Boston Whaler vice president of sales, marketing and customer service. “With this redesign, Boston Whaler’s online presence clearly reflects the many strengths of our company and our boats.”

Optimized for mobile, tablet and desktop platforms, the new bostonwhaler.com contains content for current boat owners and prospective customers. Every Boston Whaler boat model and product family features its own extensive landing page, with videos, photo galleries, downloadable specifications, descriptive copy and more. Owners resources, including an archive on past models, are now readily accessible.

In addition, Whaler enhanced the site’s boat configurator with an interactive “Build Your Whaler” tool for every model. The configurator allows customers to see how various hull colors, engines and options will look on their boat, and how these changes affect MSRP. A printable summary sheet can then easily be shared with their local Whaler dealership.

Lifestyle content has been enhanced as well. Boston Whaler’s lifestyle blog, Navigator, is now fully incorporated into bostonwhaler.com, and all content is readily shared on social media.

“The new site is a more comprehensive, modern vehicle for custom content that clearly communicates the brand’s advantages to customers and prospects,” said Vaughn. “We’re eager to measure its success following the launch, and we anticipate marked improvements across every metric. The new bostonwhaler.com is an authentic and compelling extension of the Boston Whaler lifestyle.”
